One-act plays advance to bidistrict
The one-act play troupes at Alba-Golden, Mineola and Quitman have all advanced to bidistrict competition later this week following district contests last week.
The district contest for Minoela and Quitman was held March 3 in Mt. Pleasant
Mineola performed “The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane” and earned the following awards:
All-Star Cast - Brittnie Christophersen
Honorable Mention All-Star Cast - Ben Spofford, Owen Coutre
All-Star Tech Award - Aiden Gould
Quitman performed “Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time.”
All-Star Cast - Dario Obrist and Jacob Johnson
Honorable Mention All-Star Cast - Tristan Wood and Abigail Day
All-Star Tech Award - Joisalyn Tarno
Alba-Golden won its district with “The Miracle Worker.”
All-Star Cast - Kevin Inman and Grace Longoria
All-Star Crew - Hunter Whitecotton
Honorable Mention All-Star Cast - Lizzie Whitecotton.
