Pamela Denise “Pam” Lewers McCartney 1967-2025

Services for Pamela Denise “Pam” Lewers McCartney, 57, of Mineola were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Rev. Dr. Kelvin Lynch officiating.

Interment followed in Emory City Cemetery.

Mrs. McCartney passed away April 23, 2025 at her residence in Mineola. She was born Nov. 1, 1967 in Pozzuoli, Italy to Freddie Roy and Ramona Mae Melton Lewers. Pam lived in the Wood County area for 45 years and was a member of Harvest Acres Baptist Church in Mineola. She married Charles “Chuck” Nelson McCartney in Alba on June 4, 1988. She was a member of the Wallcovering Installers Association and also served on the board of installers and associates. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ramona Mae Lewers, and brother-in-law, Carl Morris.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Charles McCartney of Mineola; father, Freddie Roy Lewers of Mineola; daughter, Brittany Janes and husband Matt of Tolar; sister, Kimberly Morris of Golden; four grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family received friends for visitation on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
