Pamela Joyce Bennett of Mineola, known as PJ to her family, friends and loved ones, was received in her Heavenly home Aug. 22, 2022. She was born in Abilene to Oran and Joyce Heffernan on April 16, 1953.

PJ practiced nursing, owned a bakery shop, a CD and DVD replication service company, was a real estate agent and paralegal of 20 years working for various law firms, title and mortgage servicing companies. Her specialty was title and original land ownership research.

Her passions were her dogs, quilting, embroidery, gardening, painting, traveling and volunteer service. PJ was loving, caring and giving, cheerful to those who knew her and the ones she first met. She was an active member of First Christian Church in Mineola.

PJ was united in Heaven with her parents; son, Mark Krieger; her sister, Kathy; and grandson, Dylan.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, William (Bill) of 23 years; son, Chip Krieger and wife Julie of Mabank; sister, Caroline of Wisconsin; brother, Craig of Indiana; mother-in-law, Carlene Bennett of Iowa Park; step-daughter, Toni of Amarillo; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022 at First Christian Church in Mineola.
