Patsy Taylor, 1938-2022

Patsy Taylor of Mineola passed away Jan. 17, 2022 at the hospital in Grand Saline at age 84. There were no funeral services.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Taylor of Mineola; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Powell; and four brothers from Lindale.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Bell; two grandchildren; brother, J.C. Powell of Lindale; three sisters, Shirlen Crowley of Mineola, Peggy Baldwin of Marshton, Mo. and Mary Kennedy of St. Charles, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
