Playhouse has new director
The Lake Country Playhouse announces the appointment of a new executive director. The Board of Governors has officially appointed George Jones to fill the position. George will start in his new role on Aug. 1.
George comes with experience in theater management, promotions, operations and much more, having previously worked for Hollywood Theaters as the Tyler theater general manager. George also operates Tours of Tyler that produces an annual Celt Fest, Comic-Con, Para-Con, Corpse Grove Haunted Attraction and Merry Christmas, Texas all based in Chapel Hill. George has also been the promoter and producer for the Select Theater’s past two Century of Cinema Film Festivals.
George will take on the daily operations and daily management of the Lake Country Playhouse, Inc.
