Quitman girls can’t keep up with Chapel Hill
The 13th ranked Lady Devils of Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill made quick work of Quitman’s Lady Bulldogs last Tuesday.
Chapel Hill’s full court defense caused the Lady Bulldogs problems that turned into turnovers, giving the Lady Devils easy buckets in a 79-17 win.
Chapel Hill led 28-3 at the end of the first quarter and 45-9 at the half.
Maddy Pence led Quitman with six points while Kynlee Love added four, Ava Burroughs three and Lindsey Hornaday and Kaysi Parker two each.
Quitman girls will finish district play on the road at third-ranked Winnsboro Friday.
The Quitman girls have clinched the fourth playoff spot in district 13-3A and will play a bidistrict game next week.
