The Elizabeth Denton English Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented the library with a monetary donation that will help preserve and digitize the library’s historical records. Sincere thanks to all members including Susan Few, Mary Sockwell, Linda Haddock and Lucille Gilbreath who are working with QPL staff to organize and record our library’s unique collection.
Special thanks to local author William Michael Wright for donating his book “When the Music Stopped.” He has also gifted the Wood County TX Genealogical Society with a copy of his family research entitled “Ancestry and Childhood Memories: William Michael Wright Family of Wood County, Texas.”
