The Quitman High School boys doubles tennis team of Armando Chavarria and Enrique Olvera has qualified for the state tournament with their performance at last week’s regional meet.

The pair will face Ulises Fraire and Zane Martinka of Kountze in the Round of 16 Thursday at 9:15 a.m. at the Annemarie Tennis Center at Northside in San Antonio. The winner advances to the quarterfinals at 1 p.m.

The semifinals and finals are Friday at 9:15 a.m. and noon.
