Quitman Rotary marking 75th

Posted

Rotarians, past and present, will gather at Anconna’s Restaurant in Quitman to celebrate the local club’s 75 years of service to the community, District 5830 and the world at large through partnerships in some 350 countries. The special remembrance will be at noon July 29.

Rotary Club members are committed to “Service Above Self” and have raised funds to eradicate polio in foreign countries, provide leadership training through RYLA, ROTARACT and local scholarships as well as serving the Quitman community through service projects.

Past District Governors Phil Blandel and Bill Hedges join Quitman Rotary Club President Lauren Doan inviting others in the area to join this special celebration.
