Mineola Rotary Club has partnered with the City National Bank, Mineola branch to collect donations of Hot Wheels cars. The club plans several events as give aways, such as last weekend’s East TX Treasure Show. Look for the club at the Iron Horse Heritage Festival in Mineola Sept. 28 and the Golden Sweet Potato Festival Oct. 26. Donations of cars or cash to buy more cars can be made at the bank.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
