St. Paul celebrating 150th church anniversary
St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Mineola will celebrate its 150th anniversary with Sunday worship followed by a dinner on Sunday, Oct. 23.
The church was founded in 1871 and claims to be the oldest church within the city of Mineola.
Amoang those scheduled to deliver remarks during the celebratory service are Mineola Mayor Jayne Langford and some of the church’s longest-tenured members.
Everyone is invited to attend the 11 a.m. service and the meal.
