Susan Taylor, 1945-2022

Susan Taylor, 76, of Yantis, passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 at her home. She was born Jan. 29, 1945 in Van Buren, Ind. to Walter and Era (Martz) Pulley. Susan was an inside sales manager for Lofland Steel in Dallas for many years before retiring to the Lake Fork area. 

After retirement, she and her husband of over 30 years, Bob Taylor, owned and operated A Touch of Class Concrete Company. Susan loved fishing and was Bob’s fishing partner. She also loved cooking for the Hidden Lakes Hunting Resort. She was a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church.

Susan is survived by her husband, Bob Taylor of Yantis; daughters, Lori Paul and husband, Joe, of Florida, Leann Hauck and husband, Barry, of Pennsylvania, and Nanette Myers and husband, Gary, of Texas; grandchildren, Corey Hammerle and wife, Katie, Nathan Hammerle, Tyler, Ryan, and Zach Stout, Ella and Rylan Myers; great-grandchild, Cory Hammerle, Jr; brother, Tom; and sister, Carolyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Dick, Fred, Jack and Bill Pulley.
