Sweet potato festival Saturday

Events for the 40th Golden Sweet Potato Festival this week include the pageant Thursday at 6 p.m.
Friday includes mutton bustin’ at 6 p.m. and gospel night at 7.
Saturday highlights: fun run 7:30 a.m., parade 10 a.m., tractor pull and car show 11, queen crowning 12:45 p.m., auction 1, concert 7 p.m. and music-entertainment during the day.
