Tennie Jo McNulty Butler Beyer was born in Knox City on Dec. 12, 1934 to William Bennett and Tennie Mae (Clark) McNulty. God had her room ready and she went to heaven Aug. 17, 2021 in Mineola. Jo was a classically trained secretary. She retired from the DOD as an administrative assistant in the Fort Worth Department of Defense Criminal Investigative Services. She also worked and lived in Ft. Stockton, Temple, Alvarado, Mineola and in Washington D.C. She held the American Volksport Award for walking over 2,500 kilometers. Jo wanted to be remembered as an exceptional housekeeper as well as a career woman. Her home was always immaculate. Jo is survived by two daughters, one grandson, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter and one great-great-grandson. Jo was a member of the Metropolitan Baptist Church in Lake Worth.  She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Midland chapter since 1966. Tennie Jo was fortunate to be attended in her last year of life by wonderful, thoughtful and caring people. The family wishes to express their gratitude and admiration for all the health care workers and staff members who were there to support her and her family through her final journey. She went softly into the morning sun.
