Virginia Ann Jones 1967-2025

Memorial services for Virginia Ann Jones, 57, were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 2025 at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Randy Larpenteur officiating.

Mrs. Jones passed away Feb. 7, 2025 at her residence in Alba. She was born Sept. 23, 1967 in Wylie to Douglas Allen and Mary Lee Tyler Dorman. Virginia moved to the Alba area in 2002 and was a member of the Nazarene Church of Mineola. She married Glen Allen Jones in Alba on Jan. 25, 2003. She worked as a manager for Champagne, Inc. in Lindale. Virginia was preceded in death by her mother and sister, Karen Dorman.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Glen Jones of Alba; father, Douglas  Dorman of Greenville; three sons, Eric Kolbo of Alba, Delivan Jones of Alba and Kody Jones of Garland; three daughters, Heather Jackson and husband Justin of Golden, Krisha Jones of Greenville and Tricia Jones of Alba; brother, Michael Dorman and wife Teresa of Allen; sister, Sharon Laird of Greenville; seven grandchildren and one more on the way; and numerous other relatives and friends.
