Wilmer Willis Bell  1926-2021

Visitation for Wilmer Willis Bell, 95, of Alba was held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Mr. Bell passed away July 19, 2021 in Grand Saline. He was born July 11, 1926, in Wood County to William Wylie and Edna Ethel Willis Bell. Wilmer married Jo Ann Gibson on Aug. 14, 1948 in Rains County. He had lived the past seven years in Alba and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Garland. Wilmer worked over 45 years for Kraft Foods in Garland on assembly lines and in the warehouse. He also served in the United States Army and was a cook for the military during World War Two. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 67 years, Jo Ann Gibson Bell; three brothers, Tommy Bell, Dan Bell and Dee Wright Bell; and four sisters, Doris Hass, Melba Adair, Mozelle Parmer and Wanda Bell.

Survivors include numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
