November 3

Deputy Cole Hudson went to PR 5935 for a disturbance. One of the parties left the scene but agreed to meet with Hudson at the school. Two individuals advised they had gotten into an argument with another person. The suspect grabbed a sledge hammer and was hitting the victim’s truck. The victim did wish to press charges.

Sgt. Jaclyn Skinner and Deputy Jim Rapp had a disturbance call on FM 49. Skinner heard a juvenile female state she wanted to kill herself with a knife. The juvenile was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Deputy Linda Williams took a call in the lobby for a suspicious circumstance. The party advised they arrived home and found two men standing at a vehicle. They told the individual they were given permission to get the vehicle. The party stated they wanted the men criminally trespassed off the property and extra patrol in the area.

Investigator Amanda Dollison spoke with an individual in the sheriff’s office lobby in regard to a scam. The party stated they received an advertisement in the mail looking for volunteers for a medical study. The individual contacted the company and began speaking with them. Several days later, after giving them his information, the reporting party figured out it was a scam. An identity pack was given and an incident report was made for future reference.

Sgt. Heather Bailey checked en route to CR 1560 for a physical disturbance. The victim stated his son had assaulted him. Ethan Chance Ralph, 25, of Alba, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury – family violence.

Deputy Brad Cox went to the Mineola High School to take an assault call that occurred in the county. He spoke with a juvenile regarding the physical assault. The case was forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Division (CID).

Deputy Cox had a damaged property report on CR 3560. The party stated a delivery driver come to his residence, and when the delivery was made, property was damaged. The party did not wish to pursue charges at the time and only wanted it documented in case the company did not correct the issue.

Sgt. Bailey responded to CR 1799 for a welfare check. She spoke with individuals on scene and was concerned with what she learned. CID will be following up on this case.

Sgt. Bailey spoke to an individual in the lobby of the sheriff’s office regarding a theft. The party stated he had to evict a tenant from a residence. When the individual left, they took items that did not belong to them and that should have remained. This case was forwarded to CID for further review.

November 4

Deputy Hudson took a call of a runaway on PR 7402. While on his way to the scene, Hudson was notified that the runaway had been located by Hawkins Police Department and was being returned to the residence. The juvenile admitted they were having a mental health crisis and was sent to the hospital for evaluation.

Deputy Williams and Sgt. Bailey were sent to a business on Hwy. 154. The reporting parties advised there was a disturbance. Bailey spoke with the suspect while Williams spoke with the victim. Williams learned that the victim received a phone call from the suspect telling her she was on her way. When the suspect got to the location, she confronted the victim and then pushed her and began choking her. Williams then spoke with witnesses, who recalled the incident just as the victim said it occurred. Toni Denise Parker, 51, of Alba was arrested for assault causes bodily injury.

Deputy Hudson responded to a noise complaint on CR 3909. The party stated he and his sister were in an argument over damaged property. Carly Loughmiller, 21, of Hawkins was arrested for public intoxication.

Deputy Jim Rapp met with an individual at the sheriff’s office lobby. They wanted to report their daughter as a runaway. She has been entered into the national system.

November 5

Deputy Hudson went to Tall Timber for a structure fire. Fire Marshal Tully Davidson will be investigating.

Deputy Andrew Rapp responded to a structure fire on CR 2650. Fire Marshal Davidson will be investigating.

Deputy Andrew Rapp took a report of theft. The victim stated his fiancé stole money. This case was forwarded to another agency for investigation.

Deputy Andrew Rapp met with an individual in the lobby of the sheriff’s office to take a report of elderly abuse and deceptive business practices. The report will be forwarded to CID.

November 6

Deputy Jonah Croney assisted Sgt. Jeremy Smith and Deputy Andrew Morrison with a call on Hwy. 37. The reporting party advised she and her boyfriend had been drinking. An argument began, and he got a handgun, threatening her. Paul Wayne Coffman, 52, of Mineola, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon – family household member.

Deputy Croney was dispatched to PR 7631 for a disturbance. Sgt. Milbourn and Deputy Croney spoke with individuals involved. One was bleeding from the head. None of the parties would cooperate with deputies and denied medical assistance.

Sgt. Jeremy Smith responded to FM 2869 for a burglary. The party stated she arrived at the residence to find the gate on the side of the house opened. She stated she was missing an abundance of personal property. Forced entry was observed to a door. A report will be forwarded to CID.

Sgt. Austin Milbourn assisted Deputy Corbin Hanner with a possible suicidal subject. A family member on scene was concerned for the safety of the individual. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.

November 7

Deputy Hudson and Sgt. Milbourn had a suspicious circumstance call on CR 3940. The subject called 911 to report a disturbance. When deputies arrived, they found the homeowner to be in a mental health crisis. He agreed to go to the hospital for evaluation.

Deputy John Cooper responded to FM 2088 for a sexual assault. It is reported that a juvenile subject was sexually assaulted at the residence. The case was forwarded to CID.

Sgt. Jeremy Smith was dispatched to Caddo for a disturbance. He spoke with two witnesses who stated they saw the suspect hitting the victim through the open driver’s side window of her vehicle. The case was forwarded to CID.

Deputy Andrew Rapp took a dog bite report. The mother of the victim stated the juvenile was bitten by their family pet, which is being trained to be an inside pet. The dog is in quarantine.

Deputy Andrew Morrison met with a victim in regard to a criminal mischief. They stated they left their vehicle at a business for work, and when she arrived to pick it up, a window had been shattered. The victim did not wish to pursue charges, as it was believed to be caused from mowers mowing alongside the county road. An incident report will be filed for future reference.

Deputy Corbin Hanner went to CR 4552 for a disturbance in progress. Hanner observed multiple people inside in a physical altercation. Matthew Thomas Davis, 47, of Mount Vernon, was arrested for Injury to a child/elderly/disabled individual – family violence.

November 8

Sgt. Milbourn and Deputy Hudson responded to Loop 564 for a burglary. Hudson and Milbourn began to clear the building. The business owner arrived and stated he did not believe anything was missing, but did locate evidence that was left behind by the suspect. The case will be forwarded to CID.

November 9

Deputy Matthew Cooper initiated a traffic Stop on S. Main Street. Upon making contact with the driver, he noticed the smell of marijuana. He also observed a pistol inside the vehicle. Chance Earl Rogers, 19, of Winnsboro, was arrested for unlawful carrying a weapon.

Deputy Hudson was dispatched to CR 3250 for an assault. The victim stated she was assaulted by her husband. Hudson observed red marks on her. Stephen Michael Mancuso, 41, Pearland, was arrested for assault family household with previous convictions.

Deputy Matthew Cooper responded to FM 17 for a burglary in progress. The homeowner stated he arrived home to someone inside his residence. When Cooper spoke to the individual, the man admitted that he had smoked Delta 8. He said he must have had a bad reaction to it, because he began having problems with his vision. He admitted to entering the residence and making himself at home. Steven Charles Eilers, 35, of Providence Village was arrested for burglary of habitation.

Sgt. Bailey was dispatched to CR 1785 for damaged property. The party stated her son had been at the residence, uninvited, and was upset when she refused to go to the store for him. He damaged the door to the residence. The case will be sent to CID.

Sgt. Justin Bowring was assigned to a burglary at the Precinct 2 County Barn on Greenville Ave. A 2008 White Chevrolet 2500 pickup, a green 2019 BigTex 20-ft trailer and an Elite Series Briggs & Stratton 8000 generator were stolen. This is an ongoing investigation.

Deputy Hudson took a report of assault after the fact. He met with the party, who stated his brother bit him on the finger. He stated they had been drinking when his brother became belligerent. Due to both subjects being intoxicated and conflicting statements, they were separated.
