Deputy Andrew Rapp, CR 1785, civil issue, son coming into residence and destroying things, document incident for future reference.

Deputy Rapp, Caddo, disturbance in progress, mutual combat, parties already separated, incident report filed.

Deputy Delton Graves, CR 2195, alarm, three individuals on scene, family property, civil issue.

Deputy Melissa Pollard, assault, FM 2869, victim and boyfriend had argument over water, he began striking her. Boyfriend and homeowner said she became angry over water and began damaging property, lack of evidence of assault, no report filed.

Deputy Benjamin Whisenhunt, package stolen from mailbox, CR 4165, case also filed with appropriate agencies.

Deputy Andrew Morrison, threats involving tenant/landlord issues, advised to speak with legal counsel.

Deputy Jonah Croney, welfare check, made contact with individual who was in hospital.

Deputy Matthew Cooper and Sgt. Jaclyn Skinner, Hwy. 37, shots fired, did not see or hear anything.

Deputy Jeff Baldwin, welfare check, arguing heard from residence, couple advised no arguing or yelling and appeared calm.

Deputy Cooper, disturbance, woman and husband separated for some time but went out, had been drinking and started arguing, neither wanted to press charges, agreed to separate for the night.

Deputy Croney, debit card compromised, reported to bank.

March 3

Deputy Croney, FM 1801, mental crisis, individual agreed to go with family for treatment.

Sgt. Austin Milbourn, CR 1297, suspicious circumstance, 6-7 boxes contained cremated remains, neighbor advised were previous resident’s bird dogs.

Deputy Morrison, Loop 564, man walking in center turn lane pushing bike with one hand and carrying large box with pellet gun with the other, individual highly intoxicated. Jimmy Fitzgerald Wilson, 54, of Mineola arrested, public intoxication.

Deputy Graves, animal bite, FM 779, victim contacted at hospital.

Deputy Rapp, CR 4568, disturbance, neighbor standing at end of driveway threatening victim, neighbor was intoxicated, Jeffrey Scott Rayborn, 50 of Winnsboro arrested for public intoxication.

March 4

Deputy Rapp, welfare check, CR 4390, messages possibly suicidal, unable to make contact, spoke by phone, advised she was not suicidal, would not give location.

Deputy Brad Cox, call from hospital of sexual assault victim, victim did not wish to speak to law enforcement, no report.

Deptuy Linda Williams, follow-up investigation, Hwy. 154, victim wishes to pursue charges of harassment after being sexually harassed, suspect will be criminally trespassed.

Deputy Cox, traffic hazard, Hwy. 154, tractor trailer blocking all lanes, on-call wrecker removed from ditch.

Deputy Jim Rapp, welfare check, CR 2445, granddaughter has history of self-harm, she stated she was sad but not suicidal, agreed to seek help, later contacted 911 asking for help but refused to cooperate.  Sgt. Jacklyn Skinner and Deputy Cooper called out a third time, individual arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest, search or transport.

Deputy Rapp, theft report, party gave niece permission to drive car, hasn’t been returned in four days,  contact unsuccessful, left message.

Deputy Cox, warrant service, Wood County Adult Probation.

March 5

Deputy Williams, inquest, CR 2129, funeral home and justice of peace contacted.

Deputies Rapp, Williams and Cox, missing person, CR 2460, man found deceased on property, justice of peace, Criminal Investigation Division (CID) and funeral home contacted.

Sgt. Heather Bailey, CR 2482, dog bite, child bitten, dogs vaccinated, will be quarantined 10 days.

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, CR 1660, woman and daughter arguing over inappropriate text message, daughter began having health issues, EMS dispatched, subject not transported.

Deputy Cooper, man not making sense, under the influence of illegal narcotics. Charles Gregory Stone, 55, of Quitman arrested for public intoxication.

March 6

Deputy Cooper, vehicle parked intersection of CR 3419 for two minutes. Donald Michael Swartz, 61, of Hawkins arrested for driving while intoxicated – 3rd or more.

Deputy Rapp, Alba, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, man’s vehicle taken while in business, case forwarded to Alba Police Department.

Deputy Williams, physical disturbance in progress, CR 4390, victim stated he woke up and found items missing from bedroom, confronted brother who went into kitchen, grabbed knife, struck victim, cutting him, grabbed victim by neck, both fell to ground, brother left scene before deputies arrived, victim did not wish to pursue charges, case will be forwarded to CID.

Deputy Cox, fraud, Social Security number being used by someone else, given Identity Crime Form, advised to notify credit bureaus.

Deputy Rapp, illegal dumping, Hwy. 11, homeowners pumping sewer into creek, case forwarded to CID.

Deputy Graves, loud music, PR 6780, individuals advised they were going to bed for the night.

March 7

Deputy Whisenhunt, illegal dumping call, CR 1522, someone moving items onto property without permission, given contacts for assistance.

Deputy Croney, inquest, Golfing Green Cove, justice of  peace and funeral home contacted.

Deputy Whisenhunt and CID, FM 2455, deadly conduct, cats playing with projectile from bullet, found hole in an exterior wall.

Deputy Andrew Rapp, assault, CR 3250, neighbor came onto property, said he was assaulted by his sister, had noticeable injury, sister not at scene, case forwarded to CID.

Deputy Pollard, stolen vehicle, boyfriend took, would not return, advised since vehicle bought while living together and in long-term relationship, would be considered community property.

Deputy Rapp, theft of firearm, CR 4390, stolen from vehicle, possible suspect provided, case forwarded to CID.

Deputy Pollard, assault after the fact, sister came home with male friend, who had a dog, put in back yard with their dogs, argument broke out over dog being in back yard, two men got into physical altercation, case forwarded to CID.

March 8

Deputy Rapp, CR 1562, missing child, biological father had someone pick up child who was left alone at residence while mother at unknown location drinking, Rapp found it best to allow child to stay where she was since both parents have custody.

CID, CR 2302, possible burglary in progress call. Kevin Allan Skinner arrested, burglary of habitation and possession of controlled substance PG 1 <1g. Brian Anthony Wilkerson arrested, burglary of habitation.

Deputies Croney and Morrison, FM 778, open door at residence, buildings cleared, nothing found, property placed on extra patrol.

Deputy Croney, inquest, CR 4651, justice of peace and funeral home contacted.

Deputy Whisenhunt issued criminal trespass warning at request of business owner on FM 14.

Deputy Rapp, FM 2869, possible traffic accident, vehicle partially blocking traffic, driver exited vehicle, Kenneth Ray Hughes, 45, of Yantis arrested, driving while intoxicated – 3rd or more.
