August 10

Deputy Gould, unauthorized use of vehicle; caller’s wife took vehicle, would not return it, wife contacted, stated husband could retrieve vehicle. 

Deputy Mayer, burglary, County Road 4691; victim showed deputy where items were missing from, would provide list of items later, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Williams, theft, FM 312; someone stole small wagon from residence, tried to siphon gas unsuccessfully, did not wish to pursue charges.

August 11

Deputy Baldwin, assault, County Road 2660; victim’s sister assaulted him during argument, did not wish to pursue charges, report filed due to family violence.

Deputy Gould, warrant service, FM 2869. Dabire Prince, 18, Hawkins arrested for outstanding warrant.

Cpl. Baldwin, animal complaint, County Road 1660; caller advised neighbor’s dogs chased her at residence multiple times. Deputy went to suspect’s address, multiple dogs charged at him, suspect could not provide vaccine records, issued citations for no proof of vaccines.

Deputy Hughes, disturbance, Hwy. 154; victim advised had gotten into argument with subject who caused damage to vehicle, fled scene before deputy’s arrival, not located, case forwarded to investigations.

August 12

Deputy Croney, theft; caller advised someone stole zero turn mower from residence, did not have suspect, provided information to enter mower as stolen.

Deputy Pollard, disturbance, Hwy. 154; victim advised she got into argument with daughter who pulled knife, suspect located, admitted to pulling knife. Caitlan Prestidge, 31, Sulphur Springs arrested for aggravated assault with weapon.

Deputy Gould, theft; caller advised three people had been staying with her, pistol missing, believes one of them stole it, wished to pursue charges, pistol entered as stolen.

Deputy Hughes, welfare check, Clayton St. in Yantis; observed female lying on ground, advised she was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, observed stumbling, unable to keep balance. Christina Harris, 34, Yantis arrested for public intoxication.

August 13

Deputy Croney, credit card abuse; caller believes ex-coworker took picture of debit card, using it, caller needed report to be reimbursed.

Deputy Whisenhunt and Sgt. Milbourn, disturbance, County Road 1570; suspect left scene, victim not wanting to press charges, provided with victim’s rights packet.

Cpl. Cooper, disturbance, County Road 2360; victim’s boyfriend mad at her, began punching her in face, had bruising around eye, scratches on arm. Johnny Robinson, 37, Mineola arrested for assault.

August 14

Cpl. Cooper, vehicle in water, County Road 3440; driver advised as he got out of vehicle, it rolled into water, could not stop it, vehicle towed.

Deputy Croney, reckless driver, Hwy. 69. Inv. Tucker located vehicle. Clayton Darst, 49, Tyler arrested for driving while intoxicated.

August 15

Deputy Kovic, theft, Hwy. 182; victim had large amount of money at house, several thousand missing, victim believes friend of helper took money, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Kovic, theft, Hwy. 80; someone stole tires during night, provided video footage, case forwarded to investigations.

August 16

Deputy Kovic, theft, County Road 2359; someone stole firearm from house, victim provided three possible suspects, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Williams, dispute after the fact, County Road 4641; caller‘s boyfriend got mad at her, tried to damage her car, threatened her, subject served criminal trespass warning.

Deputy Gould, suspicious vehicle, FM 852; driver with active warrant. Cameron Moore, 35, Winnsboro arrested for outstanding warrant.
