October 26

Deputy Hughes, traffic stop, FM 515; observed vehicle with expired registration, driver advised there was a pipe inside vehicle, baggie containing crystal substance located. Robin Brandt, 59, Alba arrested for possession of controlled substance.

Deputy Gould, theft, County Road 4135; someone stole items from residence, caller provided possible suspect, list of items, case forwarded to investigations.

Sgt. Milbourn, burglary, FM 778; two storage units had new locks, items missing, case forwarded to investigations.

October 27

Deputy Croney, burglary, FM 14; storage unit missing lock, items missing, victim provided possible suspect license plate, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Whisenhunt, theft, County Road 4471; homeowners advised firearm missing from nightstand, believes grandson stole it, has stolen from them before, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Croney, criminal mischief; caller having problems with neighbor, discovered someone had shot house window, located bullet in residence, listed possible suspect, case forwarded to investigations.

October 28

Deputy Kovic, theft report; caller let friend take over car payments, quit making payments, suspect refused to return vehicle, can not be located, waiting on more information.

Deputy Hughes, violation of protection order; caller alerted that someone at work place had protection order, should not be there, caller had seen suspect at building before when not allowed, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Kovic, criminal trespass, Hwy. 80; property owner advised multiple items had been moved around as if someone was squatting, security footage will be forwarded to deputy.

Deputy Kovic, warrant service, adult probation. Amber Nichols, 33, Leesburg arrested for outstanding warrant.

October 29

Deputy Kovic, theft, Private Road 7687; property owner evicting someone, they took their vehicle and one of his, suspect advised he had sold vehicle, it was later recovered, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Hughes, suspicious circumstance, County Road 3495; caller located boy sitting in middle of road, would not speak with them, people on scene stated child was left at their house and left during the night. 

Deputy Rapp, theft, two people stole lawn mower and trailer from victim’s father’s residence, wished for parties to be criminally trespassed, will get serial numbers for items.

October 30

Deputy Rapp, theft, County Road 1431; two batteries stolen from residence, victim believes it was people who live nearby, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, FM 515; brother became upset, choked victim. After suspect let victim go, came back, attempted to cut victim on throat, as victim pulled away, was cut on arm. Christopher Cato, 31, Omaha arrested for assault family violence.

Deputy Hughes, traffic stop, Hwy. 80; observed vehicle swerving, driver admitting drinking, driver stepped out, continually stumbled. Trooper Love contacted, determined driver to be intoxicated. Matthew Dewitt, 52, Clarksville arrested for driving while intoxicated.

October 31

Sgt. Milbourn and Deputy Croney executed search warrant, County Road 1917, assisted investigations locating stolen RV.

Deputy Whisenhunt, criminal trespass; victim would like to have people criminally trespassed from residence. Both parties contacted, successfully trespassed.

November 1

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, FM 14; victims advised their father began drinking, became upset. Father yelled at one victim, brother began yelling, they got into physical altercation, victim shot one round to stop father from fighting, father left scene, parties did not wish to pursue charges. CPS contacted, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Croney, theft; caller advised someone stole catalytic converter off pickup while he was away, no cameras in area, caller provided a possible suspect.

Deputy Burdick, criminal trespass, Holiday Villages; victim advised neighbor came to residence, did not want them there; neighbor had been previously trespassed from property, victim wished to pursue charges, case forwarded to investigations.
