Deputy Croney, theft, County Road 2176; tools missing, possible suspect listed, tools later returned, victim did not wish to pursue charges.

December 8

Deputy Morrison, burglary, FM 14; someone cut lock to storage unit, items missing, list of missing items made, appears other units tampered with. 

Deputy Way, warrant service, County Road 1813. Victoria Hunt, 37, Yantis arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Burdick, criminal mischief, County Road 3440; caller and friend got into argument, she pulled knife, tried to stab him. Deputy observed damage to vehicle, awaiting victim’s insurance report.

Deputy Croney, theft, FM 312; victim sold tractor, check was no good, suspect has yet to return tractor, victim does not have tractor VIN, case forwarded to investigations.

December 9

Deputy Hughes, traffic stop, FM 778; observed vehicle pass at high speed, observed odor of alcohol from driver, stated he had drank 20 minutes prior. Due to failing sobriety tests, Edi Garcia, 25, Commerce arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Deputy Baldwin, warrant service, County Road 3145. Makalyn Batchelor, 23, Quitman arrested for outstanding warrant.

December 10

Deputy Rapp, criminal mischief, FM 49; when victim shut truck door, back glass shattered, someone mowed the previous day, could have caused damage. 

Deputy Hughes and Cpl. Mayer, disturbance, FM 14; caller’s daughter and friend snuck out, left with two males, one male advised there was marijuana inside vehicle. Kendrick Broussard, 18, Pflugerville arrested for possession of controlled substance.

Deputy Kovic, harassment; caller’s ex kept messaging, talking about her on social media, caller was advised it was civil issue.

December 12

Deputy Hughes, animal complaint, County Road 2205; deceased dog observed inside residence, tenant stated she did not care for her dogs, knew they were sick. Brittany Cumbie, 37, Mineola arrested for cruelty to animals.

Deputy Morrison, theft; caller using company to do work on house, workers began working less, he fired the company. The company will not return materials caller already paid for, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Morrison, fraud; victim received notice that multiple fraudulent charges appeared on bank account, did not have possible suspect. 

Deputy Morrison, warrant service at adult probation. Russell Melton, 52, Alba arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Croney, theft, FM 2088; firearm missing from residence, victim believes grandson stole it, due to having history of stealing firearms, getting into other trouble, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Burdick, disturbance, Holly Lake Ranch; security guards advised suspect made threats to kill everyone on scene, was kept from going back into residence. Milton Raulston, 61, Holly Lake Ranch arrested for terroristic threats.
