Deputy Way, theft; caller’s gaming device stolen from girlfriend’s residence. No one claimed to know what happened, not entered as stolen due to not having serial number.

December 28

Deputy Way, theft; caller’s gaming device stolen from girlfriend’s residence. No one claimed to know what happened, not entered as stolen due to not having serial number.

Deputy Kovic, disturbance, Private Road 6646; parties stated suspect started disturbance, shot two times, fled scene, attempted to gain entry into other nearby residences, struck by vehicle while running across Highway 80, case forwarded to investigations.

Three animal calls, three agency assists.

December 29

Deputy Kovic, theft, Hwy. 80; owner advised trailer stolen, did not have suspect or VIN, case forwarded to investigations.

Cpl. Baldwin, burglary, Holly Lake Ranch; tools stolen from worksite, no suspects, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Gould, theft; caller’s brother stole money from bank account, never changed water bill from her name, caller wished to speak with brother one more time before pressing charges.

Two animal calls.

December 30

Sgt. Milbourn, burglary, County Road 2600; someone broke into RV, took firearm, suspect from prior call now deceased.

Deputy Gould, disturbance, County Road 4700; victim and brother got into argument, became physical. Neither wished to pursue charges, suspect was advised of the severity of his actions.

Deputy Morrison, theft, FM 2869; someone rammed gate, took trailer, provided VIN, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Burdick, disturbance, Holly Lake Ranch; victim and son got into argument, son pulled firearm, shot into the air. Laney Daniel, 50, of Holly Lake Ranch arrested for assault, two active warrants.

Five animal calls, one agency assist.

December 31

Deputy Croney, theft, Hwy. 154; items missing from building, owner could not provide serial number, wished to have incident documented.

Deputy Hughes and Deputy Burdick, terroristic threat, County Road 1613; victim receiving threatening messages from male, showed deputies, who spoke to suspect, denied threatening victim. James Littlejohn 24, Fruitvale arrested for terroristic threats.

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, County Road 2336; victim and wife arguing, she threw cigarette butt at him, burned his eyelid, suspect left prior to deputies’ arrival, case forwarded to investigations.

January 1

Sgt. Milbourn, shots fired, Highway 69; vehicle attempted to pass victim and another vehicle unsuccessfully. When victim attempted to turn, observed passenger in suspect vehicle point pistol out window, fire a shot, suspect vehicle not located. 

Deputy Rapp, criminal mischief, Holly Lake Ranch; victim’s ex-husband dropped off kids, popped her car tire, victim’s son stated he heard car tire pop as they walked into residence, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Hughes, assault, Jarvis College; victim stated she was notified her belongings were in Dumpster at college, began retrieving clothes when boyfriend slapped her face, ran off. Due to Jarvis security guards arguing with officers, unable to speak with suspect.

Deputy Morrison, assault, Hawkins; during night victim’s boyfriend became intoxicated, assaulted her, choked victim multiple times causing scratches, bruises on neck, case forwarded to investigations.

One agency assist.

January 2

Deputy Rapp, burglary, County Road 2952; owner stated when he returned to residence, observed multiple items taken from bedroom, believes items missing are his soon-to-be ex-wife’s, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, assault, County Road 2385; while at parent’s house, victim’s dad argued with him over wrecking his mother’s car, began punching victim causing injuries to his face, victim wished to press charges, case forwarded to investigations.

One animal call, two agency assists.

January 3

Deputy Rapp, damaged property, County Road 2351; someone ran through fence, left scene, did not have vehicle description.

Deputy Kovic, theft, FM 312; someone called victim, found items that were his with another person, suspect had been fired the day before, stole multiple items from property, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, theft, County Road 2169; property owner had truck muffler stolen, provided possible suspect, case forwarded to investigations.

One animal call, two agency assists.
