March 22

Deputy Rapp, suspicious person, FM 2869; male at bus stop asking strange questions, not acting normal, unable to locate. 

Deputy Whisenhunt, traffic stop, FM 14; driver had two outstanding warrants. Ricky Shakosky arrested.

Cpl. Baldwin, theft,  Holly Lake Ranch; caller’s son stole golf cart, other items. Deputy took items to return to owners, case forwarded to investigations.

Two transports.

March 23

Deputy Rapp, theft; caller rented equipment, check did not clear, able to get equipment back, given information how to report bad check.

Deputy Gould, harassment; caller’s girlfriend’s daughter sending threatening texts, harassment report completed.

Cpl. Mayer, Deputy Hughes, accident, Private Road 5881; someone ran vehicle off road into trees, deputies did not locate driver, contacted vehicle owner, got driver information, vehicle towed.

Deputy Arellano flagged down, Yantis; citizen advised suspicious male walking down FM 515, located male, ID check came back with no return, discovered male to be driver of wrecked vehicle from previous call. Michael Watts, 41, Sulphur Springs arrested for failure to ID.

Cpl. Mayer, Deputy Hughes, criminal trespass, County Road 4918; person who was trespassed from property kept coming onto property. Deputies spoke with suspect who stated he has not been to that residence and has been called on before for same issue.

March 24

Deputy Croney, Deputy Comeaux, theft, Hwy. 37; business manager advised someone cut fuel line, stole 500 gallons of diesel, neighbor provided camera footage of suspect’s vehicle, case forwarded to investigations.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Cooper, traffic stop, County Road 4641; deputy observed male on possible stolen four-wheeler, attempted to stop, driver attempted to flee which resulted in wrecking four-wheeler, fleeing on foot. Deputies lost sight, performed extensive search, four-wheeler confiscated, warrant issued for suspect.

Deputy Pollard, suspicious person, FM 17; located vehicle, two males admitted having marijuana. Tucker Milner arrested for possession of marijuana.

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Way, possible disturbance, County Road 3840; female possibly being chased by someone with gun, deputies learned it was large party, information was false.

March 25

Deputy Croney, theft; caller advised while she was in hospital, someone took multiple pills from residence, did not have possible suspect.

Deputy Croney, suspicious person, FM 17; male sleeping in vehicle, linked to call the night prior where driver was arrested, property owner wished to have subject criminally trespassed from property.

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rapp, suicidal subject; deputies made contact with subject, got him transported to receive treatment.

Deputy Pollard, Deputy Way, disturbance, County Road 1112; caller and son got into argument, son went in different room, parties advised they would stay separated.

Sgt. Williams, criminal mischief; gate to private community had been rammed by vehicle. Due to caller not wanting deputy at the time, case will be handled later.

March 26

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Croney, warrant service, Winnsboro. Bobby Lindley, 45, Winnsboro arrested for outstanding warrant.

Sgt. Morrison, Corporal Cooper, Deputy Pollard, suicidal subject; caller’s ex-wife sent suicidal messages. Deputies viewed messages, got female transported for treatment.

All units responded to accident, FM 779; deputies observed one vehicle fully engulfed, no occupants. Deputies helped fire department set up helicopter landing zone for victim. 

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Pollard, disturbance, County Road 1612; victim’s stepdaughter’s friends assaulted him, victim told kids to leave, male struck him in the face. Micah Barnheart arrested for assault against elderly.

Cpl. Rapp, dispute, Holiday Village; caller got into argument with husband due to him using meth, attempting to hurt her, did not wish to pursue charges, parties separated.

March 27

Lt Milbourn, Sgt. Cox, Corporal Baldwin, assault in progress; suspect assaulted his grandmother, sister, fled scene, deputies unable to locate. Warrants filed for suspect.

Deputy Rapp, criminal trespass; caller wanted person trespassed from property, deputy issued criminal trespass warning.

Deputy Arellano, scam call by phone; caller received call that if they don’t send money, they will hurt them, caller advised not to make any more contact due to it being scam.

Deputy Gould, animal bite, Winnsboro ER; victim stated they were attempting to purchase dog, while they were petting one, it bit them in the throat. Vaccine records acquired, dog will be quarantined.

Deputy Hughes, terroristic threat, Hawkins; victim’s ex-husband called 38 times within one hour, possibly headed to house, case forwarded to investigations.

March 28

Deputy Comeaux, Deputy Kovic, disturbance, County Road 2954; victim and stepdaughter got into argument, she struck him on the side of his head, suspect admitted to striking stepfather, Alizaya Covington arrested for assault.

Deputy Comeaux, Deputy Kovic, burglary, FM 1254; someone stole siding off wall, pushed wall in, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, medical incident, County Road 4186; caller’s husband had fallen, hit his head. Deputy helped perform medical aid until EMS arrived, patient later succumbed to injuries. 

Deputy Arellano, animal complaint, Private Road 6645; while victim was walking his dog, another dog went through a fence, attacked him and his dog, owner advised dog was vaccinated, will forward copy of vaccinations, dog will be quarantined 10 days.

Deputy Hughes, traffic stop, FM 14; vehicle with temporary tag that did not match vehicle, deputy observed marijuana odor from vehicle, located 13.63 grams of meth inside vehicle, subject arrested for possession of controlled substance.
