April 19

Deputy Burdick, Deputy Comeaux, terroristic threat, CR 3803; victim received call from friend who threatened harm, victim’s son heard call, they were advised to leave residence, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Skinner, disturbance, Holiday Villages; caller being assaulted by boyfriend, also assaulting her children, deputy observed female to have injuries, male had left scene. Warrants filed for suspect, CPS contacted.

Deputy Kovic, theft; caller advised multiple items missing from residence, listed possible suspect, victim has tried to report missing items multiple times in past.

Deputy Baldwin, animal complaint, CR 3494; caller advised son not feeding animals, they were living in house. Deputies observed well fed animals, no one at residence.

Deputy Kovic, disturbance, Hwy. 154; victim stated passenger kept trying to grab steering wheel to cause wreck. Deputy able to calm both parties, escorted vehicle to residence.

April 20

Cpl. Baldwin, Deputy Skinner, Deputy Kovic, disturbance, CR 2117. Three subjects arguing in roadway, one grabbed knife, other threatened to get gun, parties did not wish to pursue charges, given explanation of self-defense.

Sgt. Mayer, shots fired, CR 1684; round went through window of victim’s house. No one wished to pursue charges, arrangements made to pay for damages.

Deputy Hughes, burglary, CR 1900; deputies did not locate suspect in building, Matthew Douglas later located, arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, burglary and theft.

April 21

Deputy Pollard, criminal mischief, FM 2869; property owner advised someone destroyed well house, report completed for insurance.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Cooper, burglary, Private Road 7544; possible suspect located, stated he was checking on residence. Family asked for subject to be criminally trespassed from property.

Cpl. Cooper, Deputy Pollard, disturbance, FM 778; caller went to residence to tell male to leave her alone, he assaulted her, male advised female would not leave, he did not assault her, female was asked to leave property. 

Deputy Burdick, Deputy Comeaux, protection order violation. Winnsboro PD received call female was kicked out of residence. Deputies discovered male had protection order preventing him from being at residence. Female stated male wasn’t there. Deputies observed male sneaking out back of house. James Short arrested for violation of protection order.

Cpl. Rapp, alarm, Hawkins; deputy observed open door to building, cash register found open, no signs of forced entry, business owner will file report with Hawkins PD.

April 22

Lt. Milbourn, canine request, Mineola; positive alert made, contraband found.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Cooper, burglary, FM 312; neighbors saw two vehicles at residence attempting to take four-wheeler, deputies learned vehicle, multiple items stolen, property owner provided suspects, case forwarded to investigations.

Cpl. Cooper, criminal mischief, Hwy. 37; male hit victim’s vehicle, left scene. Deputies went to suspect’s residence, vehicle located, suspect would not come to door, offense report completed.

Cpl. Cooper, traffic stop, Hwy. 11; driver driving with invalid license, glass pipe, meth located, Patrick Joiner, arrested for driving while license invalid, possession of controlled substance.

Cpl. Cooper, harassment; caller purchased storage shed, to make payments, owner harassing her for more money, advised caller to tell male to quit texting her, he continued, offense report completed.

Cpl. Rapp, burglary, FM 14; observed male on roof of camper, Donnell Greener, found to be intoxicated, arrested for public intoxication.

April 23

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Croney, criminal mischief, CR 1600; victim, neighbors’ mailboxes damaged, nine mailboxes damaged, case forwarded to investigations.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Cooper, criminal trespass, Private Road 586; male at victim’s residence criminally trespassed, deputies detained male, confirmed not invited to residence. After arresting Douglas Morrison, firearm located inside vehicle, arrested for criminal trespass with deadly weapon.

Deputy Croney, credit card abuse, Holiday Villages; victim’s son’s girlfriend used her credit card without permission, agreement made to repay charges.

Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Arellano, disturbance, CR 2117; Jessica Fanning threatened to assault other female, arrested. Julie Jenkins arrested after deputies determined she assaulted two females.

April 24

Cpl. Baldwin, fraud; caller advised someone attempted to buy phones in her name at a store, caller has made report where incident has occurred, wanted it documented.

Cpl. Baldwin, Deputy Rapp, disturbance, Hwy. 80; suspect breaking up with girlfriend, taking their child, female’s grandfather stepped in to stop him. During altercation, baby received small cut, checked by EMS. Ronald Rhodes arrested for reckless endangerment of child, CPS notified.

Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Hughes, criminal trespass, CR 1431; two males came onto property, stealing electricity, report taken for theft, deputies unable to locate males.

Deputy Comeaux, suicidal subject, CR 4874; subject sent suicidal messages, deputy transported her to receive treatment.

April 25

Deputy Kovic, animal complaint, CR 3494; multiple dogs not being fed. Deputy observed dogs to be well fed.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Comeaux, suicidal subject, Hawkins; individual stated he took excess medication, transported to receive treatment.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Comeaux, disturbance, Hawkins; mother, daughter got into argument over daughter’s boyfriend, became physical, both stated the other started the fight. Neither wished to pursue charges.

Deputy Hughes responding to call when he was nearly run off road on FM 17 by driver in wrong lane, passenger provided false ID, wanted by department of pardons and paroles, multiple types of narcotics located. Javier Davila and Roy Golden charged with eight counts of possession of dangerous drugs.
