September 4
Deputy Smith, criminal mischief; caller’s ex-girlfriend damaged his RV, was out of town, will complete report when back in area.
Sgt. Mayer, suspicious vehicle, FM 2966; vehicle turned around, started tailgating caller, deputy contacted suspect vehicle who was acting odd, caller did not wish to pursue charges.
Sgt. Cox, Cpl. Rapp, vehicle accident, Hwy. 69; deputies assisted DPS with two-vehicle accident, one occupant flown by helicopter.
September 5
Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Skinner, disturbance, CR 3147; home health nurse’s patient had black eye, husband laying on couch with laceration to head, deputies determined male subject assaulted female, choked her, female struck male in head with hammer to get him to stop choking her. Avery Hartness arrested for assault family violence, impeding breathing.
Deputy Way, welfare check, CR 3147; caller stated unable to contact mother or go to house to check, deputy contacted subject, advised she was fine. APS contacted due to poor living conditions.
Cpl. Burdick, theft; caller in lease agreement, neighbor removed items from property, neighbor advised owner of property told him to clean up, follow up will be completed to get more information from owner.
September 6
Deputy Pollard, theft, Holly Lake Ranch; generator stolen from property, deputies located suspect vehicle tracks, offense report completed.
Cpl. Croney, Deputy Whisenhunt, disturbance, FM 779; victim struck by mother’s boyfriend, suspect admitted striking victim. Todd Monk arrested for assault family violence.
Chief Turner, Sgt. Morrison, warrant service, CR 2261. Kelly Lambert arrested for active warrants.
Deputy Comeaux, Deputy Holland, disturbance, Holly Lake Ranch; victim struck multiple times by roommate, suspect fled prior to deputy’s arrival, offense report completed.
September 7
Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, warrant service, CR 1681. Cameron Ridout arrested for two outstanding warrants.
Deputy Holland, gun shot victim; while deputies en route, victim transported to hospital, witness advised victim was not shot but received injury from gun going off.
Cpl. Rich, vehicle accident, Holiday Village; vehicle ran into clubhouse, caused damage, owner will remove vehicle, clean up debris.
Cpl. Rich, Deputy Haley, vehicle accident, FM 515; driver found to be driving under the influence, trooper contacted.
September 8
Cpl. Croney, animal bite; caller trying to break up two dogs fighting, one bit her, caller was not in county, would provide vaccine records when she returns.
Deputy Pollard, unresponsive subject, SRA Park; deputy attempted to contact driver who was asleep, would not respond to commands, finally woke up, advised she had been dropped off there, not making sense, open container of alcohol observed in vehicle, witness advised driver was alone. Amy Willis arrested for public intoxication.
Deputy Holland, theft, Private Road 7544; four-wheeler missing from residence, victim provided possible suspect, four-wheeler entered as stolen.
September 9
Cpl. Rapp, burglary, CR 2169; someone broke into RV, stole items, incident report completed.
Deputy Skinner, traffic stop, FM 852; driver Justin Petrea found to have active warrants from another county, placed in custody.
Deputy Williams, criminal trespass, CR 4750; caller wanted subject trespassed from house.
September 10
Sgt. Sepulvado, warrant service, Adult Probation. Leslie Alaman arrested for active warrant.
Lt. Kovic, Deputy Smith, Deputy Williams, theft in progress, Hwy.80; caller observed three males stealing gun safes, holding them until deputies arrived, deputies determined multiple gun safes missing, case forwarded to investigations.
Deputy Smith, criminal trespass, CR 3226; man jumped over locked gate, knocked on door advising him he was there to repo tractor, asked man if he had paperwork for the repo, said no, when caller called 911, the male left in white tow truck that had no license plates or writing on it, deputies searched area, did not locate vehicle.
Deputy Williams, criminal trespass, CR 1487; caller’s ex-boyfriend was at residence without her permission, had no trespassing signs, upon deputy’s arrival, subject left, but resident provided video of suspect on property, case forwarded to investigations.
