November 13
Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Cox, warrant service, CR 2770. Christopher Carrell arrested for active warrant.
Sgt. Cox, burglary, FM 778; during the night someone went through compartments on work trucks, stole items, offense report completed.
Sgt. Cox, Deputy Smith, reckless driver, FM 2869; deputies located vehicle, conducted traffic stop, standard field sobriety tests given, driver Ryan Gilbreath arrested for DWI with a child under 15.
Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Williams, burglary, CR 2436; male broke into residence, was attempting to harm caller’s step-daughter, subject had fled, deputies did not locate suspect.
November 14
Sgt. Cox, Deputy Smith, subject with gun, CR 2436; subject returned to property from previous night with firearm. Deputies located suspect, Jonathan Champaign, arrested for burglary.
Deputy Skinner, abandoned property, FM 17. TxDOT advised someone left property on right-of-way, nearby property owner advised she evicted tenant, put his property on right-of-way, advised she would handle the situation.
November 15
Sgt. Mayer, agency assist, Hwy. 69; troopers in pursuit, suspect apprehended in Greenville, taken into custody.
Cpl. Croney contacted by Smith County about locating missing juvenile, removed from system as missing.
Capt. Chilson, theft, CR 2389; victim’s son tore up property, stole items, victim will provide list of missing items.
Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rich, disturbance; deputies observed signs of disturbance, minor injuries on victim. Jessenia Garcia arrested for assault with previous conviction.
November 16
Deputy Pollard, Deputy Whisenhunt, disturbance, CR 4691; deputies made contact with male subject who was pacing the area, conducted pat down search, located drug paraphernalia and green-leafy substance. Carlos Ramirez arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Deputy Pollard, theft, FM 515; property on boat missing, victim wanted incident documented.
Deputy Whisenhunt, stolen mailbox, CR 3260; caller advised two mailboxes missing, offense report completed.
November 17
Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Croney, 911 hang up, CR 2378; physical disturbance occurred between father and daughter, she had visible signs of injury. Dudley Horton arrested for assault family violence.
Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rich, suspicious vehicle, CR 1850; deputies searched area, located male with self-inflicted gun shot wound; CID contacted.
Cpl. Croney, located dog, Hwy. 69; caller located dog walking near road, dog posted online to find possible owner.
November 18
Deputy Smith, Deputy Beck, disturbance, CR 3526; victim advised girlfriend threw statue at him, hurting his leg. Kristan Bales arrested for assault family violence.
Sgt. Cox, theft, Spur 514; victim had booth set up this past weekend, around 2 she noticed phone missing, offense report completed.
Deputy Way, assault; while victim was with friend, he took her phone, demanding she return an item of his, victim gave suspect the phone, he slapped her in the face with the phone, then shattered her phone, offense report completed.
Sgt. Mayer, Cpl. Burdick, welfare check, CR 2351; deputies learned assault took place, victim had been choked. Amanda Moreland arrested for assault family violence impeding breath.
November 19
Sgt. Cox, subject attempting to falsify drug test, Adult Probation; before deputy’s arrival, subject fled in vehicle, offense report completed.
Deputy Skinner, welfare check, Holly Lake Ranch; subject made self-harm comments to deputy, she was transported to receive treatment.
Cpl. Burdick, assault, CR 3909; caller got into argument with brother who struck him several times, suspect left prior to deputy’s arrival, case forwarded to investigations.
