January 15
Deputy Pollard, Deputy Hammond, theft, FM 2088; victim’s son-in-law stole firearms from residence, victim did not have serial numbers, offense report completed.
Deputy Way, trespassing; caller sent text message to three subjects to not come back on property, has no trespassing signs up, wished to press charges, will forward photos of subject on property.
Sgt. Williams, traffic stop, FM 515; vehicle with defective rear license plate, driver gave consent to search, deputy located two baggies containing crystal-like substance. Matthew Hooper arrested for possession of controlled substance.
January 16
Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Holland, warrant service, Private Road 5174. Matthew Bosteder taken into custody for active warrant.
Deputy Whisenhunt, Deputy Pollard, Deputy Hammond, physical disturbance, CR 2740; caller and wife were in physical disturbance, deputies spoke with both parties who had inconsistent stories, video footage showed argument verbal only.
Sgt. Williams, criminal trespass; neighbor dug hole in caller’s yard while doing plumbing, caller wished to criminally trespass neighbor, neighbor advised he was fixing leak to another house, neighbor given warning but will have access to water meter due to it being in his name.
January 17
Deputy Smith, criminal trespass, CR 2245; caller wanted every person at neighbor’s house to be criminally trespassed, deputies located one subject on property, given trespass warning.
Sgt. Cox, Deputy Smith, welfare check; caller saw subject several days prior, hasn’t spoke to him since, deputies entered residence, located subject deceased.
Cpl. Rich, vehicle fire, FM 2966; driver pulled off roadway, got stuck, vehicle caught on fire.
January 18
Cpl. Skinner, Deputy Haney, burglary, FM 69; someone came through back door of family member’s house no items taken, caller will put up cameras.
Cpl. Skinner, Deputy Haney, animal bite, Holiday Village; mail carrier bitten while delivering mail, dog owner provided expired rabies vaccines, issued citation.
Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Haley, welfare check, Hwy. 37; caller’s nephew took narcotic, acting irate, subject caused damage inside apartment, bleeding from injuries, attempted to flee, pushed past deputies, subject detained until EMS arrived.
January 19
Deputy Skinner, Deputy Haney, terroristic threat, Yantis; victim’s husband threatened to harm her, case forwarded to investigations.
Cpl. Skinner, Deputy Haney, death investigation; subject had just purchased firewood from a male, located deceased shortly after.
Deputy Smith, harassment; caller previously sent messages to suspect asking her to stop communicating with him, incident report completed.
January 20
Deputy Whisenhunt, criminal mischief, CR 4470; caller’s truck vandalized when someone scratched, peeled paint off, offense report completed.
Deputy Hammond, Deputy Pollard, inquest; deceased subject’s care taker located him deceased inside residence.
January 21
Deputy Whisenhunt, criminal mischief, CR 1681; someone damaged victim’s air conditioner, provided possible suspect, offense report completed.
Deputy Pollard, violation of bond conditions; caller advised there were bond conditions preventing suspect from contacting her, after he was notified, he still attempted to contact her, offense report completed.
Deputy Pollard, Deputy Hammond, disturbance, Holiday Village; victim advised juvenile son assaulted her, deputies observed injuries, juvenile admitted assaulting his mother, Juvenile Probation contacted.
Sgt. Williams, harassment; caller’s brother attempted to contact her over 30 times through multiple phone numbers and accounts leaving degrading messages, offense report completed.
