January 22
Cpl. Skinner, Deputy Haney, 911 hang up, FM 17; deputies located female who requested EMS. EMS checked subject.
Deputy Way, assault; victim had been assaulted twice, had video footage, offense report completed.
Cpl. Burdick, alarm, Private Road 5551; deputies located pry marks on rear door, keyholder unsure if marks were previously there, will call back after he checks camera footage.
Deputy Williams, suicidal subject, Hawkins; Crisis Hotline advised female called making self-harm statements, deputies spoke with subject who confirmed her feelings, transported by EMS to receive treatment.
January 23
Deputy Smith, stolen vehicle, CR 3455; during the night someone stole vehicle, entered as stolen, case forwarded to investigations.
Deputy George, assault; deputies located juvenile who was detained for violation of probation orders. Juvenile Probation contacted, transported subject.
Sgt. Sepulvado, Sgt. Cox, assault after the fact, CR 2320; victim advised he and wife got into argument, began fighting over remote which caused him to fall, wife left prior to deputies’ arrival, case forwarded to investigations.
January 24
While patrolling, Deputy Pollard, Deputy Hammond observed structure on fire, spoke with male who advised dog was inside, possibly another person, he attempted to leave scene, deputies learned he provided false name, found to have three felony warrants. Mark Gliexner arrested for active warrants.
Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, suicidal subject; suicide hotline speaking with female who had harmed herself, made statements to cause more harm, deputies spoke with subject who had minor injuries, transported by EMS to receive treatment.
Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rich, agency assist, FM 2869; deputy from North Dakota advised subject’s ex-wife accused him of theft in their county, subject advised to contact deputy.
January 25
Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, large disturbance, Hawkins Elementary, unable to locate anyone involved in altercation, caller provided security footage, case forwarded to Hawkins PD.
Deputy Pollard, Deputy Hammond, grass fire, CR 2157; subject started fire, failed to watch it, burned subject’s property, neighboring property.
Cpl. Rich, agency assist, Winnsboro. Winnsboro PD advised of vehicle accident.
January 26
Deputy Pollard, Deputy Hammond, theft; male stole victim’s wallet that contained large amount of cash, suspect advised his wallet also stolen, offense report completed.
Deputy Whisenhunt, theft; caller out of town, neighbor advised camper missing, provided possible suspect, case forwarded to investigations.
Cpl. Rich, Deputy Beck, assault, Quitman ER; patient involved in altercation, deputies observed no injuries on patient, other involved party advised female charged him, he used his foot to push her away. Neither wished to pursue charges.
January 27
Deputy Smith, stolen four-wheeler, CR 1676; neighbor stole four-wheeler. Thomas Rountree arrested for theft of property.
Sgt. Cox, agency assist, CR 2270; assisted troopers with one vehicle crash.
Cpl. Skinner, Deputy Haney, structure fire, CR 4750; one subject transported by EMS for minor burns.
Deputy Haley, credit card abuse; caller went to store, next day unauthorized charge appeared on card, offense report completed.
January 28
Deputy Smith, welfare check, CR 2164; subject advised she was still having self-harm thoughts, voluntarily went with EMS for treatment.
Cpl. Skinner, burglary, CR 4287; someone broke into vehicle, stole firearm, entered as stolen, offense report was completed.
Sgt. Sepulvado, Deputy Smith, disturbance, CR 2298; victim’s son being aggressive, pushed her causing her to cut hand, suspect left prior to deputies’ arrival, returned. Luke Prior arrested for DWI and assault family violence.
Deputy Haley, theft of firearm, CR 1600; firearm missing, located holster in brother-in-law’s clothes who lives in residence, victim confronted brother-in-law who advised he knew nothing about holster or firearm, offense report completed.
