January 29
Deputy Pollard, Deputy Hammond, theft, FM 852; male and female entered business, stole groceries, possible suspect provided, case forwarded to investigations.
Deputy Pollard, Deputy Hammond, theft, Yantis; female entered store, took item without paying, suspect contacted, admitted taking item, caller did not wish to pursue charges.
Sgt. Williams, Deputy Beck, suicidal subject, CR 3689; deputy observed subject’s vehicle, made contact, subject did not make self-harm statement, provided resources for help.
January 30
Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, assault, CR 3220; while subject on father’s property, brother started argument, grabbed subject by throat, deputies observed injury, unable to locate brother on property, offense report completed.
Deputy Pollard, Deputy Hammond, theft; multiple firearms missing from residence, entered as stolen, offense report completed.
Deputy Beck, suicidal subject, Holly Lake Ranch; subject’s family member advised she had recently been getting worse, subject refused EMS, did not make self-harm statements.
January 31
Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Haney, theft; caller’s ex-boyfriend left in her vehicle for work, has not returned vehicle, caller advised to inform subject to return vehicle before pressing charges.
Deputy Beck, suspicious vehicle, CR 1448; tow truck took subject’s vehicle, deputies determined vehicle not repossessed, should not have been taken, wrecker service advised subject called requesting vehicle, offense report completed.
Sgt. Burdick, Deputy George, Deputy Haney, disturbance, CR 3425; victim’s friend assaulted him after being upset he gave him a ride, victim had visible injuries, decided not to press charges.
Deputy Beck, reckless driver, Hwy. 154; located vehicle, initiated traffic stop, found vehicle stolen, driver, Joshua Hudson arrested for unauthorized use of motor vehicle.
Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Haney, subject walking, FM 2088; subject had active warrant, deputies attempted to detain subject who fled on foot, Charles Allen Bell apprehended, placed in custody for active warrant and evading.
February 1
Sgt. Burdick, Cpl. Rich, Deputy Haney, suspicious persons, CR 2100; property owner advised people on property without permission, deputies did not locate anyone.
Sgt. Co, abandoned vehicle, Hwy. 80; contacted vehicle owner, advised he would attempt to get vehicle home that evening.
Sgt. Cox, Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Haney, deceased person; caller located subject unresponsive in his residence, had multiple health issues.
February 2
Sgt. Cox, burglary, Private Road 5804; someone broke into residence and buildings, deputies observed signs of forced entry, property owner will provide identifying numbers.
Sgt. Cox, vehicle fire, CR 2672; deputies unable to locate identifying information, will attempt to locate one.
Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Haney, disturbance, FM 1643; father-in-law grabbed victim’s arm, pushed her, deputies spoke with parties, determined male did make unwanted contact with victim, issued citation for assault.
February 3
Deputy Pollard, dog bite, CR 1660; tow truck driver bitten by dog while picking up vehicle, dog owner advised dog did not have vaccines, dog owner issued citation.
Deputy Pollard, animal bite, CR 1987; caller’s neighbor’s dog bit him while he was on neighbor’s property, dog owner provided vaccine records, instructed to quarantine dog.
Deputy Beck, criminal trespass; caller’s friend’s ex came to residence, unplugged cameras, caused damage to friend’s car, caller wished to have subject criminally trespassed, case forwarded to investigations.
February 4
Deputies, warrant service, CR 4536. Jerri Brasfield arrested for active warrant.
Cpl. Rich, Deputy Hammond, request to speak, FM 1801; caller in civil dispute over vehicle, would like to retrieve personal items from vehicle, subject who had vehicle would not give deputies any information, other party advised to return the property or theft charges would be pursued.
