Sgt. Williams, theft, Hwy. 11; store employee advised male took many items through back door without paying, case forwarded to investigations.

Lt. Kovic, Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rich, Deputy Hammond, suicidal subject; caller’s husband had her at gunpoint, children in the house, deputies spoke to subject by phone, he came out of residence with no weapons. Matthew Bailey arrested for aggravated assault with deadly weapon.

February 13

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, disturbance, FM 2869; during parking dispute, driver of another vehicle threatened caller’s life, heard on the phone line by dispatch, suspect already left scene, offense report completed.

Deputy Pollard, warrant service, Adult Probation. Jimmy Curry arrested for active warrant.

Sgt. Morrison, agency assist; caller transporting patient to shelter, patient advised her medications had been delivered to residence, deputy secured medications, held until caller retrieved them.

February 14

Deputy Smith, missing cow, CR 4286; caller’s calf missing, believes someone stole it, checked with neighbors who did not have it, offense report completed.

Deputy Smith, found property, Hwy. 37; victim believes some of his stolen items are on the property. CID notified, search warrant obtained, deputies located stolen items, suspect not on scene. 

Deputy Haley, burglary of vehicle, FM 312; victim left wallet in vehicle, missing, contacted banks, offense report completed.

February 15

Cpl. Skinner, terroristic threat, CR 2280; caller’s son contacted her multiple times, blocked him, was advised how to file for protection order.

Sgt. Williams, abandoned vehicle, FM 2088; male came to caller’s residence, asked if she could help remove him from ditch, deputies spoke with driver who advised he had someone coming to remove vehicle.

Deputy Williams, suspicious activity, CR 2320; someone rang caller’s door bell multiple times, no one was there, deputies searched area, located group of teenagers who were advised to return home.

February 16

Cpl. Skinner, criminal trespass; caller wished to verify criminal trespass warning in place on subject, confirmed, suspect advised to stop contacting victim.

Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Haney, structure fire, CR 4896; structure fully engulfed, homeowner believes fire started in chimney.

Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Haney, Deputy Haley, disturbance, FM 312; caller’s brother causing problems, deputies learned subject had not been at residence in several hours, made aware subject had active warrants, possible location. Donald Moses arrested on active warrants.

February 17

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, assault, CR 3565; victim’s son assaulted her, advised she did not wish to pursue charges, son did not cause her pain. 

Deputy Whisenhunt, suspicious person, Hwy. 69; male near gas pumps, acting strangely, deputies spoke with subject who advised he was waiting to receive money so he could fill up vehicle.

Sgt. Williams, animal complaint; someone dumped dogs at residence awhile back, now someone has dumped dogs again, caller was provided information to dog rescue center.

February 18

Deputy Pollard, fraud, Hwy. 154; victim advised the business purchased boat motor for customer, never received motor, victim learned website was fake, fake shipping label was created, offense report completed.

Deputy Pollard, theft of firearm; during night someone stole firearm from vehicle, serial number provided, entered as stolen.
