Deputy Haney, Deputy Smith, damage to property, Hawkins; ex-employee same to business, stole a purse, slashed tires, deputies located suspect walking down roadway. Antwan Townsend arrested for criminal mischief.

March 20

Deputies, burglary, FM 49; male subject observed entering residence on security camera, homeowner arrived, attempted to keep subject on property, suspect attempted to run over homeowner while fleeing area. Mineola PD located suspect vehicle, pursuit began, driver vehicle wrecked, fled on foot. Multiple units searched area, suspect located following day. Walter Wayne Hall, Hawkins, arrested for evading arrest, aggravated assault with deadly weapon, burglary of habitation.

Deputy Haley, damage to property, CR 2952; caller and wife got into argument, she damaged vehicle’s window, incident report completed.

Deputy Williams, agency assist, Hwy. 154; Auto Task Force located stolen RV, RV towed off property.

March 21

Deputy Pollard, Deputy Hammond, criminal trespass; caller’s ex-girlfriend released from prison, showed back up at residence. Deputies learned female still had belongings inside residence, which was her last address before going to prison, caller informed of eviction process.

Cpl. Rich, theft; caller advised someone stole his marijuana and liquor, advised to contact Hawkins PD, notified that marijuana is illegal in Texas.

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rich, vehicle accident vs. horse; driver advised horse ran out in road, she hit it. Deputies located second horse, had it secured until owner could arrive.

March 22

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Hammond, warrant service in Mineola. Andrea Sandlin arrested for active warrant.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Beck, Deputy Gloar, assault in progress, Lake Hawkins; suspect attempting to flee on motorcycle, ignored deputies’ commands, driver removed from motorcycle, placed in custody, victim advised male pushed her to ground, began punching her. Ray Luther arrested for assault family violence.

Cpl. Rich, agency assist, Hawkins. Jarvis Security advised intoxicated male causing issues, deputies located subject, did not find an offense had been committed, subject transported to hotel for the night.

March 23

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Hammond, theft, CR 2921; property near victim had recently been purchased, during clean up process, metal pipe stolen from her property, subject responsible for cleanup contacted, advised he uses another person to do clean up, offense report completed.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Hammond, animal bite, CR 1895; victim bitten by dog inside RV park, dog owner advised he knew the dog bit another person, could not provide vaccine records, issued citation, informed to quarantine dog.

Cpl. Rich, Deputy Gloar, warrant service, Private Road 5679. Justin Shelton arrested for active warrant.

Deputy Beck, traffic stop, Hwy. 69; vehicle driving at high rate of speed, refused to pull over. After several miles, suspect ended pursuit at his residence. Andrew Viles arrested for evading arrest.

March 24

Deputy Smith, Deputy Haney, theft, FM 778; victim had camera footage of someone attempting to steal lawn mower, victim able to retrieve lawn mower.

Deputy Smith, Deputy Haney, theft, Hwy. 80; someone stole side by side from residence, entered as stolen, offense report was completed.

Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Haley, disturbance, FM 2088; caller’s boyfriend cut himself, punched her in face, deputies found caller had broken plate over boyfriend’s head, pepper sprayed him without cause. Elizabeth Phillips arrested for assault.

March 25

Sgt. Cox, Deputy McGee, suspicious circumstance, FM 17; caller’s neighbor was in roadway, threatening to shoot his pony, deputies learned caller told neighbor previously if his dog came on his property and attacked his pony, he would shoot it. 

Sgt. Cox, warrant service, Adult Probation. Travis Toldeo arrested for active warrant.

Deputy McGee, theft, Hwy. 154; store employee advised package of lottery tickets missing, incident report completed.
