Cpl. Rich, Deputy Beck, disturbance, CR 2262; female, extremely intoxicated, would not explain what happened, eventually advised deputies her boyfriend woke her up by shaking her and left, deputies contacted boyfriend, determined no offense occurred.

Cpl. Rich, Deputy Glaor, assault, Hawkins; victim’s boyfriend took her phone, cut off internet so she could not call, suspect admitted pushing and shoving victim which caused visible injuries. Ryan Clay arrested for assault and interference with emergency request for assistance.

March 27 

Deputy Beck, traffic stop, FM 14; deputy observed vehicle driving at excessive speed, driver admitted having narcotics inside vehicle, multiple narcotics located in vehicle. Jon Ford arrested for possession of controlled substance.

Deputy Whisenhunt, theft, Hwy. 154; someone stole building materials during night, offense report completed.

Lt. Milbourn, traffic stop, Hwy. 154; driver denied consent to search vehicle, open-air sniff conducted, canine had positive alert, deputy located narcotics inside vehicle. Joyce Vandruff arrested for possession of controlled substance.

March 28

Deputies assisted, shooting, Hawkins; deputies transported suspect to jail.

Deputy Smith, theft, FM 778; during night someone stole motorcycle from property, entered as stolen, offense report completed.

Sgt. Espinoza, theft; caller had Amazon package delivered, when she got home, it was missing, offense report completed.

March 29

Sgt. Cox, welfare check, FM 2869. Kaufman Co advised of missing person, gave deputies address to check, located missing person who advised they were OK.

Cpl. Rich, damage to property, FM 1795; vehicle drove through fence causing damage, vehicle found at scene, incident report completed.

Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Williams, Deputy Haney, disturbance, FM 778; caller’s boyfriend kicked and grabbed her, attempted to take keys out of vehicle while they were driving, victim attempted to stop him. Clifford Plant arrested for assault.

March 30

Deputy Beck, open gate, businesses property, Hwy. 154; business owner stated they did not know gate was open, provided gate lock, gate secured.

Deputy Whisenhunt, Deputy Beck, disturbance, CR 2173; victim’s son used vehicle, when he returned it, there was drug paraphernalia inside, when victim confronted son, physical altercation ensued. Jason Vavra arrested for assault family violence.

Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Haney, structure fire, CR 2175; neighbor advised back of RV caught fire, attempted to put it out, fire marshal notified.

March 31

Deputy Pollard, dispute, Hwy. 154; two callers advised they were at business attempting to retrieve property, dispute broke out with business owner, no offense occurred, owner wished to criminally trespass one caller from property.

Cpl. Rich, Deputy Beck, located stolen property, CR 2245; caller located his stolen motorcycle, parts had been taken off, while deputies were en route, motorcycle left scene, deputies observed it driving in Mineola. Deputies contacted driver, discovered VIN plate matched the stolen motorcycle. Brian Reichel arrested for unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

Deputy Beck, criminal trespass; caller‘s ex-husband showed up on property on back porch, caller wished to have subject criminally trespassed. Deputies contacted ex-husband who was made aware of criminal trespass warning.

April 1

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Hammond, warrant service, Private Road 6235. Karen Charlton arrested for active warrants.

Cpl. Rich, Deputy Beck, UUMV, CR 3565; caller’s son took vehicle without permission, before deputies arrived, caller advised vehicle had been returned, deputies learned caller allowed son to take vehicle, son became aggressive assaulted deputy. Dillion Mabery arrested for assault of public servant, resisting arrest.
