May 14

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Hammond, warrant service, CR 4328. Joshua McLemore arrested on active warrant.

Cpl. Skinner, Deputy Hammond, warrant service, FM 49. While deputies were pulling into residence, vehicle was backing into roadway, standard field sobriety test conducted on driver, James Cox, arrested for DWI 2nd. Mark Jacobs arrested on active warrants.

Deputy Williams, theft, Private Road 5217; someone stole rods and reels off of boat that was in the water. Offense report completed.

 May 15 

Deputy Haley, criminal mischief, Private Road 5561; someone busted back window of truck, deputies arrival discovered no evidence of intentional act, no suspects.

Cpl. Skinner, Deputy Hammond, disturbance, CR 2954; both parties advised argument remained verbal. Sean Earle arrested on active warrant.

Deputy Haley, Deputy Hammond, disturbance, Holiday Village; grandson assaulted grandmother by slamming her to ground, juvenile transported to Sheriff’s Office, Juvenile Probation contacted.

Deputies responded Lake Holbrook Point for disturbance involving firearm, vehicle fled scene at high rate of speed almost striking deputies, pursuit ensued, back passenger fired shots at deputies, pursuit ended at residence where occupants fled on foot inside, deputies set up perimeter around residence, three subjects located, one subject remained in residence, deputies located him upon search of residence. 

May 16

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, Grand Saline PD, warrant service, Grand Saline; warrant obtained for Connor Scott, Grand Saline PD located subject, placed in custody. 

Deputy Whisenhunt, theft, CR 3265; victim had a large amount of fencing material stolen from residence, possible suspect provided, offense report completed.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, warrant service, Hawkins. Christopher Phillips arrested on Trinity County warrant.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, warrant service, Holiday Villages. Allen Lawson taken into custody on active warrant.

May 17

Sgt. Morrison, warrant service, CR 1985. Joyce Vandruff arrested on active warrant.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Way, warrant service, Alba. Randal Bucko arrested for active warrant out of Arkansas.

Deputy Way, report of reckless driver, Hwy. 37; deputy located vehicle, observed signs of reckless driving, initiated traffic stop, driver Kevin Lopez arrested for reckless driving.

May 18

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, Quitman ER, child accidentally poked by needle; deputies learned child located needle under bed and was poked with it while containing diabetic medication, CPS notified.

Deputy way, theft, CR 4930; while caller was out of town, allowed sister-in-law to take care of house, when caller returned, she discovered items missing from residence, offense report completed.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, child locked in car, CR 1340; father advised when he placed child in truck, he started it with remote start which caused keys to be locked in vehicle, deputies retrieved child from vehicle, checked on by EMS.

Deputy Beck, criminal mischief, Holiday Village; someone slashed caller’s truck tires at residence, deputies observed two bikes that matched description of stolen bikes in neighborhood, caller stated he located bikes, took them to his residence, bike owner told deputies he slashed caller’s truck tires. Justin Green arrested for criminal mischief. 

Sgt. Williams, abandoned vehicle; subject got out of car, advised he was out of gas, someone was coming to pick him up, could not provide a name. Thomas Hollis was found to have active warrant, placed in custody. 

May 19

Deputy Haley, warrant service, Adult Probation. Chris Pyron arrested on active warrant.

Deputy Hammond, animal bite; victim stated his dogs were fighting, when he went to break them up, they bit him. Vaccine records provided.

Sgt. Cox took, terroristic threat; victim received online message from person threatening to harm them, offense report completed.

May 20

Sgt. Cox, warrant service, Adult Probation. Severiano Candelario arrested for active warrant.

Deputy Haley, burglary, CR 1560; someone broke into victim’s camper, stole items on his property, offense report completed.

Cpl. Skinner, subject driving golf cart in road, Hwy.154; deputies observed female driving golf cart, she was disoriented, unable to provide day’s date or where she was located, subject transported to receive treatment.

Deputy Hammond, criminal trespass, CR 2771; victim advised she had been assaulted by her cousin, she had visible injuries, deputy attempted to locate suspect at place of work but she was not located, case forwarded to investigations. 

Deputies, suspicious activity, CR 1576; caller’s neighbor trying to shoot alligator, two shots struck her property, suspect advised he was shooting in direction of the neighbors house. Reeder Price arrested for deadly conduct.
