May 21
Deputy Whisenhunt, theft of firearms, FM 14; someone broke into residence, stole six firearms, security camera had been interrupted during time of burglary, possible suspects provided, firearms entered as stolen.
Cpl. Rich, suspicious circumstance, CR 1843; male and female yelling at each other, female got in vehicle with male, drove off, while deputies were en route, caller heard multiple gunshots near vehicle, they discovered the two subjects were putting on a roof with a nail gun.
Deputy Gloar, damaged property, CR 3260; someone ran over mailbox, destroying it with vehicle.
May 22
Sgt. Williams, Deputy Beck, overdose, CR 2153; deputies observed two subjects unresponsive, Narcan given to both subjects who regained consciousness, transported by EMS to receive treatment.
Sgt. Williams, Deputy Gloar, death investigation, CR 2248; subject went to work, unable to reach wife, when he returned home, discovered wife deceased, autopsy ordered.
May 23
Deputies performed warrant service, Holiday Villages. Kevin Thurman arrested on active warrant.
Deputy Haney, theft, Private Road 7966; someone stole side-by-side from residence, deputy discovered it had been towed.
Deputy Williams, EMS assist, CR 3811; EMS received call of female who consumed mushrooms walking around neighborhood naked, subject was transported by EMS, while en route to ER, subject jumped out of ambulance, fled into nearby woods, later discovered, fled up tree. After multi-hour standoff, subject came down from tree, transported to receive treatment.
Deputy Haney, Deputy Williams, disturbance, CR 1807; caller’s girlfriend’s father fired single shot out of window during argument. James Morgan arrested for unlawful possession of firearm by felon.
May 24
Deputy Hammond, terroristic threat, Yantis; victim’s mother had been threatening her by text, offense report completed.
Lt. Milbourn, traffic stop, Lake Holbrook. Luis Reyes arrested for possession of controlled substance.
Deputies responded to disturbance, Lake Holbrook; deputies learned caller was reported to be making threats to other parties causing them to become upset. Threatened parties took caller to ground, female began to assault him. Rhonda Savell arrested for assault. While deputies attempted to arrest Savell, husband Phillip Heermans attempted to prevent her arrest, threatened deputies. He was arrested for terroristic threat against peace officer.
Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Tustin, Deputy Haney, disturbance, Lake Quitman; both parties advised physical confrontation ensued, suspect pulled out knife, threatened to kill victim. Richard McLemore arrested for aggravated assault with deadly weapon.
May 25
Deputy Hammond, theft, FM 778; when caller went to church, noticed power was out, went outside to check, observed AC unit missing, offense report completed.
Deputy Haley, theft, Holly Lake Ranch; someone stole boat from residence a week and a half ago, offense report completed.
Deputy Smith, traffic stop. Tracy McKenzie arrested for DWI, possession of marijuana.
Deputy Hammond, suspicious circumstance, CR 2389; subject set her trashcan on fire, possible suspect provided.
May 26
Cpl. Rich, welfare check, FM 49; caller was talking to wife on phone, when the call dropped, now cannot reach her. Deputies responded to last location, she was not located.
Deputy Beck, suspicious person, CR 3846; caller house sitting sister-in-law’s house, female was sitting on porch, female advised she had been sitting outside all night, transported by EMS.
Lt. Milbourn, suspicious person, Hwy 80; male sitting on caller’s porch, advised him to leave, when caller woke up, male was still on property, male criminally trespassed from property.
May 27
Deputies, suspicious circumstance, CR 3870; person living on property possibly called gang to assault caller, after disturbance they had, deputies made contact with caller who was possibly suffering side effects of drug use, caller advised subject on property had active warrant from Pardons and Paroles. John Backman located, arrested for active warrant.
Deputy Way, theft, CR 1840; someone cut fence, stole large amount of wire from substation, offense report completed.
Deputies, warrant service, CR 2150. Garrett Thorsen arrested on active warrant.
