Sgt. Cox, possible accident, CR 3582; dispatch received automated iPhone alert detecting crash, deputy located iPhone on ground, appeared to have fallen from vehicle, phone taken to Sheriff’s Office. 

Deputy Hammond, theft, Hawkins; caller believes someone was inside of her deceased father’s residence, deputies cleared residence, did not locate anyone, caller advised items had been stolen, offense report completed, forwarded to Hawkins PD.

Deputies received two scam calls; person called claiming to be from bail bond office, advised the person still owed money, requested money be sent through CashApp, victims made aware of scam. 

May 29 

Deputy Haley, theft, FM 2966; during the night someone stole vehicle, entered as stolen.

Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Cox, Deputy Hammond, disturbance, Holly Lake Ranch; caller’s grandson threatened her, tearing up the house. Arron Matthews arrested for assault by threat.

Deputy Haley, theft, CR 1941; victim moving to new residence, left truck at old residence, when he returned, vehicle missing, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Haney, animal cruelty, Lake Winnsboro; caller stated her store was closed, subject requested them to reopen to buy something, when told them they will not reopen, subject left in vehicle, intentionally ran over dog in parking lot, witnesses observed incident, dog owner contacted, wished to press charges, offense report completed.

Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Tustin, assault, CR 2745; victim’s roommate struck her, left area on foot, deputies observed bruising on victim, offense report completed.

May 30

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, suicidal subject, Hawkins; caller’s girlfriend had knife, threatening to harm herself, upon deputies arrival, subject no longer had knife, went with EMS to receive treatment.

Cpl. Rich, Deputy Gloar, suspicious vehicle, FM 778; driver vehicle advised he ran off roadway, unable to walk or get out of vehicle, transported to the ER. 

Cpl. Rich, noise complaint, FM 312, no offense occurred.

May 31

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, disturbance, FM 1799; caller’s neighbors sounded like they were in a fight, male attempting to leave, both parties advised female slapped male. Amy Shaw arrested for assault.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, structure fire, shots fired, FM 1801; caller stated multiple gun shots going off, building also on fire. Deputies discovered rounds going off inside building that was engulfed. 

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rich, physical assault, Holiday Village; deputies located two males fighting, learned unknown male came to residence, caused physical disturbance with both parties. Arturo Medina arrested for assault (3 counts), resisting arrest, terroristic threat.

Deputy Beck, Deputy Gloar, suspicious person, FM 515; female in roadway rolling around. Deputies responded to same subject two previous occasions where she was also under the influence. Leticia Munoz arrested for public intoxication.

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rich, physical disturbance, Lake Hawkins; parties did not wish to give details of what occurred.

June 1

Deputy Smith, traffic stop, Hwy. 182, fictitious plates; deputy located crystal-like substance. Tyler Robinson arrested for possession of controlled substance.

Sgt. Morrison, request to speak; victim having ongoing issues with husband, had no where to go. Deputies contacted crisis center, available bed located, subject transported.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, warrant service, FM 1799; deputies observed wanted subject in vehicle nearby. Marshall Freeman arrested for active warrant.

June 2

Deputy George, warrant service, Adult Probation. Scott Stalsberg arrested on active warrant.

Cpl. Skinner, agency assist, CR 1912; Hopkins County conducted warrant service, subject placed in custody on active Hopkins County warrant.

Cpl. Skinner, Deputy George, warrant service, CR 2275. Kelli Schwalbach arrested on active warrant.

Deputy Williams, assault, FM 1254; victim riding with friend in vehicle, they contacted her cousin, driver became upset with cousin, attempted to punch him, victim attempted to protect her cousin, which caused her to be struck multiple times, offense report completed.

June 3

Deputy Hammond, theft; caller advised someone stole license plate from trailer, offense report completed, plate entered as stolen.

Deputy George, assault, Holiday Village; caller’s husband had become verbally, physically aggressive recently, offense report completed.

Cpl. Skinner, Deputy Hammond, warrant service, Hawkins. Jacob Brewer arrested on active warrant.

Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Tustin, suicidal subject, CR 4560; juvenile advised they had taken multiple pills to cause self-harm, transported by EMS to receive treatment.
