June 11

Deputy Haney, disturbance, Hwy. 80; caller’s ex-girlfriend came to retrieve property, became upset, busted out window, caller did not wish to pursue charges.

Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Knox, traffic stop, CR 2150; driver, Lisa Vielma, had active warrant, placed in custody.

Deputy George, Deputy Hammond, possible squatter; deputies observed forced entry into residence, signs someone had been staying there, located juvenile in residence who was returned to guardians per CPS.

June 12

Deputy George, Deputy Hammond, Deputy Tustin, warrant service, CR 1558. Ernesto Aragonez arrested on active warrant.

Sgt. Burdick, Deputy Hammond, assault, CR 4310; victim had been assaulted by son-in-law. Deputies and Winnsboro PD located suspect, Eduardo Romero, placed in custody for assault, interference with emergency request for assistance.

June 13

Deputy Way, located juvenile, Hwy. 154; juvenile walked away from grandparent’s house, they were out looking for him, grandparents retrieved child.

Deputy Way, harassment; caller advised male just released from jail was harassing her by text, offense report completed.

Deputy Gloar, harassment; victim received racial letter on front door threatening them, offense report completed.

Deputies responded to suicidal subject with gun; located subject, Caleb Lester, arrested on active warrant.

June 14

Deputy Williams, disturbance; deputies learned physical disturbance occurred in different county, report forwarded to appropriate agency.

Deputy Beck, traffic stop, Winnsboro; driver admitted drinking before driving. Eric Thomas arrested for DWI 2nd.

Deputies, death investigation, Lake Hawkins; caller located subject inside tent, had been there several days, autopsy ordered.

June 15

Deputy Way, child custody dispute; caller advised ex-wife drove from California to pick up their child, did not have any rights, contact made with ex-wife who left without child.

Deputy Haley, suicidal subject, Mineola; caller’s wife sent concerning messages, requested deputy check on her, deputies contacted wife who advised she was feeling depressed, transported by EMS to receive treatment.

Deputy Gloar, suspicious circumstance, Hawkins; deputy made contact with subject who stated he was waiting on ride, deputy returned to different location later over same subject, had entered caller’s vehicle, caller did not wish to pursue charges.

June 16

Deputy Haley, theft, Yantis; offense report completed, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy George, welfare check, violation of protection order, CR 2745; deputies have responded to this address multiple times for same issue, offense report completed.

Lt. Kovic, Deputy Tustin, theft, CR 4918; parties advised they had bill of sale for trailer, offense report completed.

Deputy Hammond, shots fired, CR 2119; when caller came home, discovered bullet in sheet rock, damaged window, advised her neighbors shoot often.

June 17

Cpl. Skinner, Deputy George, Deputy Knox, Hwy. 80, located child; passerby located 2-year-old with no parents around, deputies located father asleep in residence, CPS contacted.

Cpl. Skinner, Deputy George, Deputy Knox, criminal trespass, CR 2749; trespass warning issued to one subject. Jessica Williams arrested for active warrant.

Deputy Haley, possible theft; caller had truck and trailer at business, they would not return it, caller was advised to attempt to retrieve vehicle’ when he returns to town, if caller is unable to retrieve items, offense report will be completed.
