Wyndale Lynn Weems, 1944-2021

Wyndale Lynn Weems, 76, of Waco, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021.

Lynn was born Dec. 7, 1944, in Quitman to Sam and Nettie Weems. He was a graduate of Quitman High School, Baylor University (bachelor’s degree in psychology) and St. Mary’s University in San Antonio (master’s degree in psychology). In 1966, he married the love of his life, Naomi. He was a dedicated employee of the Texas Youth Commission for 40 years and concluded his career at the Waco Center for Youth.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Naomi and son, Brent, of Waco; and brother, Danny of Quitman. He was a devout Christian, loving father and committed husband. He was loved by all he knew.

Due to COVID concerns, the memorial service is limited to family. Under normal circumstances, the plethora of people that held a place in Lynn’s heart would be invited to attend the celebration of life of this incredible man.
