4-H food show winners announced
The annual Wood County 4-H Food Show was held recently with 4-H members exhibiting skills in the Food/Nutrition project.
Members took part in a judged interview in which they presented a prepared food and answered questions about the nutritional qualities of that dish, preparation steps, possible food substitutions and food safety factors related to that food.
Category winners will advance to the District 4-H Food Show in January in Palestine to compete with 4-H’ers from across the 22-county Northeast TX District 5.
