AGISD hosts kick off for school year

Alba-Golden ISD kicks off the new school year Friday with a community event, culminating in the Meet the Panthers pep rally, introducing all the participants in fall sports and activities at 7:30 p.m.

Meet the Teacher will be from 4-6 p.m. for secondary students and 5-7 p.m. for elementary.

Pre-game activities in Panther Alley will include spirit wear and season passes for sale, food trucks and face tattoos from 6-7:30 p.m.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
