Amy Ann Barry-Posch, 45, of Quitman passed away on Oct. 13, 2021.

Amy was born on Oct. 13, 1976 to David and Sandra Cummons Barry in Irving. Amy and her parents moved to Quitman soon after she was born and made the small East Texas town their home. Amy graduated from Quitman High School in 1995. Following graduation, she served briefly in the United States Navy. She married the love of her life and best friend, Kevin Posch, on March 15, 1996. She enjoyed spending her time with Kevin, shopping (especially for shoes), binge-watching television shows and traveling with her husband.

Amy was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Posch of Quitman; son, Daniel Posch of Minnesota; daughter, Kara Posch-Hackworth of Jackson, Mo.; and many other relatives and friends.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
