Anglers break Lake Fork record
Norbert Samok and Laszlo Kovacs broke the Lake Fork record for the smallmouth buffalo species. The duo reeled in a 71.5-pound catch, according to the Lake Fork Chamber of Commerce. The catch was recorded by Evan Cartabiano of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The previous lake record was held by Bogdan C. Bucur Tarean, who caught a 66-pound fish on March 3, 2012, according to the TPWD website.
