Bizzell and Kumm head of the class at Alba-Golden High School
Valedictorian for the Alba-Golden High School Class of 2019 is Madison Grace Bizzell. She is the daughter of Sean and Deitra Bizzell and will be attending Texas A&M University at College Station in the fall.
Throughout high school Bizzell has competed and represented Alba-Golden in five varsity sports. As a varsity cheerleader she was selected each year as an NCA All American. In basketball, she was selected 1st Team All-District all four years of high school, named A-G MVP, and selected to the All-Region team her senior year. She was selected Academic All-State in basketball and softball. Not only was Grace a member and officer of the National Honor Society, Key Club, FCCLA, and FCA, but she also represented the graduating class as an officer throughout high school.

The salutatorian is Nathaniel James Kumm. His parents are mother Terri Kohn and step-father Curtis Myers. Kumm will be attending the University of North Texas in the fall.
He has participated in varsity tennis for two years, and he received the best newcomer award in theater as a senior. Kumm has also served the Alba-Golden school and community as a member and officer of student council for the past two years and as a member of Key Club for three.
The graduation ceremony will be held Friday, May 31 at 7 p.m. at Tyler Junior College Wagstaff Gymnasium.
