MINEOLA-A memorial service for Bobbie Ann Voyles, 81 of Mineola was held September 15 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola.

Mrs. Voyles died September 1, 2018 in Mineola. She was born April 22, 1937 in Wood County. She was a retired seamstress and worked for WalMart.

She is survived by her husband, W.K. “Chubby” Voyles of Mineola; sons, Ricky and Wayland Voyles, both of Mineola; daughter, Robin Horn of Mineola; brother, Lowell Duncan of Denton; sister, OraLee Saldana of Mineola; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
