Celebrate 150 years with Sabine Stomp

The Mineola Nature Preserve will come alive Saturday with the Sabine Stomp ’23 in celebration of the city’s sesquicentennial.

The preserve will be closed through Sept. 3 for concert preparations and clean up.

The gates will open at 3:30 p.m. Saturday with music set to begin at 4:30 on two stages.

Tickets are $50 in advance, $60 at the gate, and $10 for parking and can be purchased at:

VIP tickets are $150 in advance only.

There will be vendors and food. Bring chairs and blankets. No coolers or outside food or drink will be allowed, and no pets.

Headliners the Old 97s will wrap up the evening with a 10 p.m. performance.

First on the bill at 4:30 is Jennifer Pisarcik. She will be followed at 5 by Chris Colston.

Blue Mudbone hits the stage at 6 p.m. and Josh Ward is next at 6:45.

Kenneth Waters goes on stage at 7:45 and Cory Morrow will do an hour set at 8:15.

Nick Brumley has the final slot at 9:15 before the Old 97s.
