Church blesses community
Members of the Cartwright Baptist Church were at the Brookshire’s in Quitman Saturday morning paying for groceries and gasoline for more than three hours. The acts of kindness were the result of an offering from a church member designated for benefiting and blessing the community. Church members paid for up to $100, with no strings attached, until the funds ran out, at which point more funds were added and payments continued for up to $50.
