A 55-year-old woman from Colorado was taken to the hospital on Friday, March 29 after her car crashed and overturned on South Pacific Street in Mineola. Police were notified of the accident at 9:39 a.m. The woman was driving a Ford Edge and traveling south in the 1000 block of South Pacific when she missed a curve and hit a power pole in the Valero parking lot, according to police. The Ford Edge turned upside down and traveled approximately 100 feet in the south bound lane of South Pacific Street. The woman was transported to UT Health in Quitman and released later in the day, according to police.
