The following guilty pleas were heard and sentences assessed in 402nd District Court on July 15:

Duard Wayne Turner, Mineola, driving while intoxicated third or more, third degree felony, eight years in state prison probated for eight years community service with 160 hours community service, $1,000 fine.

Joe Kenneth Musselwhite, Mineola, possession of a controlled substance penalty group one, one gram or more but less than four, third degree felony; tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, third degree felony, 10 years in state prison with 428 days credit for time served, $1,000 fine; possession of a controlled substance penalty group one, less than one gram, state jail felony, dismissed.
