N. Pacific St. in Mineola had to be shut down for several hours Thursday afternoon, April 4 after a southbound vehicle struck a power pole in the 1700 block, severing it at the base and also pulling down a nearby pole. The subject left the scene but was later located. SWEPCO replaced the poles later that evening.
