Bryson Hobbs stopped Edgewood’s next effort with an interception at the goal line.

Edgewood reclaimed the lead on its next possession 15-8.

Quitman answered with a score from short yardage by Crockett to tie it at 15.

Two quick scores to open the second half put Edgewood in command 39-15.

Quitman trimmed the margin on a Greene run. Edgewood almost ran back the blocked kick for a safety.

They ran back the short kick for a 45-21 lead and added two more scores before Quitman got on the board a final time on passes to Klayton Meadows for the 59-27 final.
