Foundation hosts benefit tourney

They Got Your 6 Foundation and ETX Texas Cornhole League will host a benefit cornhole tournament Saturday, June 24 in downtown Mineola.

Registration is at 10 a.m. with tournament play from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be live music, vendors, food trucks, Cowburners beer garden and free mini train rides at Iron Horse Square.

All proceeds benefit the local foundation that assists veterans and first responders.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
